MapsToGPX — Support & User Guide

MapsToGPX is a helper utility designed to bridge the gap between Google Maps and your GPS navigation devices (especially Beeline Moto & Velo).

Quick Start Guide 

1. Open the Google Maps app on your iOS device.

2. Plan a route (with directions) or drop a pin/select a location.

3. Tap the Share button, scroll through the app list, and select MapsToGPX (if you don't see it, tap "More" at the end of the list and enable it).

4. MapsToGPX will automatically resolve the link, convert it to a GPX file, and prompt you to open it directly in the Beeline app or share/save the GPX track.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Which GPS devices are compatible? A: While MapsToGPX is optimized for seamless 1-tap handoff to the Beeline app, the generated GPX files are standard route files. You can export and use them with Garmin Connect, Wahoo ELMNT, OsmAnd, Organic Maps, and any other device or app that supports GPX import.

Q: Why does my Google Maps link fail to convert? A: Make sure you are sharing a valid directions route (with start and end points) or a specific shared location pin. Plain search queries or empty maps cannot be converted into GPX paths.
